May Homeschool Horse Day Camps
Join us for one—or all—of our Tuesday afternoon Homeschool Horse Day Camps in May! These hands-on, educational sessions are perfect for young horse enthusiasts who want to learn more about horses, riding, and farm life in a fun and supportive environment.
Each camp day is $50 per student, with only 10 spots available per session to ensure personalized instruction. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend and observe the day’s activities at no cost; however, only paid students will participate in riding lesson horses.
For safety and supervision, parents must remain on-site for children ages 5 and under. All parents are required to stay for a 30-minute orientation at the beginning of the day to review safety rules, liability information, daily plans, and pick-up procedures. Campers must be picked up promptly at 2:00 PM.
Daily Schedule
10:45 AM – Arrival & check-in
11:00 AM – Parent orientation: liability, safety, schedule & pick-up times
11:15 AM – Camper farm tour, meet the animals, grooming basics & equipment overview
11:30 AM – Full horse grooming & anatomy session
11:45 AM – Groundwork demonstrations in the arena

12:05 PM – Western saddles & tack lesson; saddling horses
12:15 PM – Leading horses & groundwork practice
12:35 PM – Group A rides in the arena / Group B art activity
12:55 PM – Groups switch: Group B rides
1:25 PM – Untack horses for the day
1:40 PM – Group discussion, Q&A, art reflection on the day’s learning
2:00 PM – Parent pick-up
