June Horse Day Camp, Saturday June 8th
Join us for our Horse Day Camp on Saturday, June 8th from 8AM-1PM.
Cost is $100 / rider. We will only have 10 rider spots available for this Horse Camp. Parents and siblings are free to audit the days activities.
It’s highly preferred we have parents stay with children ages 5 & under for the day.
Parents need to stay for 30 minute orientation
Understand safety & day planning
Lunch provided
Pick up campers by 1PM
Schedule:
Drop off 8:00am sharp (please arrive by 7:45am if possible for check in)
8:00-8:15am parents understand liability, schedule, safety and pick up times
8:15am campers tour the farm, meet the animals, learn about grooming & equipment
8:30am full grooming & anatomy sessions
8:40am ground work demonstrations in the arena
9:05am Western saddles and tack learning in the barn, saddling horses
9:35am Leading horses & ground work in the arena
9:50am Gaming Pattern demonstrations in arena (Egg & Spoon, One barrel pennant)
10:05pm Group A Riders in the arena for riding & games
10:45am-11:25AM Group B & A switch. Group B Riding sessions & games
11:35am Untack horses in the barn
12:00 pm lunch & group activity
12:35 Q&A, discuss days learning as a group, horse bathing if weather permits
1:00pm parent pick up
Other important information:
RSVP's and liability forms are required to attend.
Must be paid in full - Non refundable
Lunch is provided
Rider age is 5 years minimum.
Heeled boots required, no tennis shoes or sandals (rain boots OK).
Jeans required.
Please plan ahead with water, snacks, bug spray & sunscreen.
We have certified riding helmets available (NO bike helmets please.)
This horse day camp runs rain or shine.
